Airstrikes kill 17 Taliban, ISIS militants; destroy a car bomb and weapons caches

KABOOM!... s in various provinces in the past 24 killing at last 17 Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... and ISIS  ...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...bad boys. The military officials said Tuesday that the security forces conducted an airstrike in Khugyani district of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province which killed 1 ISIS bad boy. The officials further added that a similar airstrike killed 5 Talibs and destroyed a small weapons cache in Ghorian district of Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... Furthermore, an airstrike killed a Taliban fighter in Jurm district of Badakhshan province, the officials said, adding that a similar air raid killed 3 Talibs in Deh Yak district of Ghazni. The officials also added that an airstrike in Jaji district of Paktiya killed 7 Talibs and destroyed a small cache of weapons.
