Airstrike in Takhar kills a prominent commander of the Taliban group
[KhaamaPress] An  ...KABOOM!... in Takhar province killed a prominent commander of the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... group, the Afghan military said Wednesday. According to a statement released by 217th Pamir Corps in the North-east, the Air Forces conducted the airstrike in Khwajah Bahauddin district on Tuesday night. The statement further added that the airstrike killed Mawlavi Jamal, one of the prominent commanders of Taliban in Takhar. The Taliban group has not commented regarding the airstrike so far.
