U.S. airstrikes inflict heavy casualties on Taliban militants in Paktiya province
[KhaamaPress] The U.S. forces conducted a series of  ...KABOOM!... s in Paktiya province which inflicted heavy casualties on Talibs. The 203rd Thunder Corps said in a statement that the U.S. forces conducted the airstrikes in Sargul and Mastangi areas of Zazai Aryoub district. The statement further added that the airstrikes killed at least 14 Talibs and maimed 8 others. Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the airstrikes also killed Gul Nazar, Qari Jamal alias Fedayee and Najeeb, the three local commanders of Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... in Paktiya. The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the U.S. forces conducted separate airstrikes in Aab Band district of Ghazni province killed 3 Talibs and maimed 5 others.
