Taliban’s Red Unit militants clash with ISIS fighters in Nangarhar province
[KhaamaPress] The Red Unit Death Eaters of the Taliban ...Arabic for students... group clashed with ISIS  ...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...fighters in eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province of Afghanistan, the local authorities said Sunday. The Governor’s Office of Nangarhar said in a statement that the Talibs clashed with ISIS fighters in Zawi area of Khugyani district on Saturday night. The statement further added the Talibs killed 9 fighters of ISIS Khurasan terrorist group during the 5-hour long clash. Furthermore, the ISIS fighters killed 2 Death Eaters of the Red Unit of Taliban and maimed 2 others, the statement said. The Taliban and ISIS groups have not commented regarding the latest infighting so far.
