12 children killed, wounded in Parwan IED explosion
22 September[KhaamaPress] An explosion in northern Parwan killed or maimed at least 12 children late on Saturday afternoon, the security officials said. Nasrat Rahimi, a front man for the Ministry of Interior said an improvised bomb went off at around 4:20 pm local time on Saturday in Shah Mast Qalandar Village. Rahimi further added that the earth-shattering kaboom killed a child and maimed at least 11 others. Furthermore, Rahimi blamed the Taliban  ...Arabic for students... group for planting the improvised bomb but the Talibs have not commented regarding the incident so far. Talibs frequently use improvised bombs to target the security forces and government officials. But majority of such attacks inflict casualties on ordinary civilians.
