Kabul: cops defuse sticky bomb, 11 Talibs toes up
 Afghan forces foil militants bid to detonate a magnetic IED in Kabul city [KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces foiled militants bid to detonate a magnetic Improvised Explosive Device in Kabul city. The Kabul Police Headquarters said in a statement the police forces discovered a magnetic Improvised Explosive Device attached to a vehicle in 5th district of the city. The statement further added that the police forces defused the explosives with the support of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team of the National Directorate of Security. Furthermore, the Kabul Police said the security forces thwarted a deadly explosion by defusing the bomb. The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented in this regard so far. Special Forces kill 11 Taliban militants, destroy caches of weapons in Kabul, other provinces [KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces killed at least 11 Taliban militants and destroyed caches of weapons in Uruzgan, Wardak and Kabul provinces. The military officials said Thursday the Afghan Special Forces killed 7 Taliban militants during a patrol in Tarin Kot district of Uruzgan. The officials further added that the Special Forces also destroyed a cache of weapons during the same operation. Furthermore, the officials said the Special Forces killed 4 Taliban militants and arrested another militant during a raid in Sayyidabad district of Wardak.
