Israeli forces arrest dozens of Palestinians in West Bank raids
[Presstv] Israeli forces have arrested over two dozen Paleostinians, among them senior members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine (PFLP), in raids across the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli military said on Sunday that it had arrested 27 Paleostinian people on suspicion of involvement in planned attacks over the weekend.

Paleostinian media reported that senior PFLP figures and former political prisoners were among the detainees.

The Paleostinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said Israeli soldiers invaded and violently searched homes in the West Bank, and interrogated many Paleostinians while inspecting their ID cards.

The raids took place in the cities of Jenin, Nablus, Bethlehem and Tulkarm, the towns of Awarta, Asira ash-Shamaliya and Birzeit, the villages of Nahalin, Deir Abu Mash'al, Nabi Salih and Kobar, as well as the Balata refugee camp.

Paleostinians in some of the areas mentioned held protests against the violent raids, but Israeli forces fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at the demonstrators.

On Saturday night, Israel's so-called security agency better known by the acronym Shabak or the Shin Bet announced that it had arrested three Paleostinian men suspected of carrying out a bombing last month in the West Bank, that killed a 17-year-old Israeli girl and injured her father and brother.
The Times of Israel adds:
Paleostinian media reported that among them were senior figures in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine, who were detained in the city of Nablus and the nearby Balata refugee camp.
