Egyptian police arrest Facebook page admin over organ trade ads
[AlAhram] The Egyptian security forces have arrested the administrator of a Facebook page that published posts advertising the buying and selling of human organs.Egyptian Planned Parenthood affiliate? According to a statement issued by the interior ministry on Wednesday, the general directorate of information technology observed the posts on the Facebook page, in violation of the law. The ministry did not reveal the name of the administrator. It, however, said in its statement that the defendant confessed his crimes, noting that he was exploiting patients’ conditions and had established a Facebook page to buy and sell kidneys.
