[MAIL] Elijah E Cummings, a senior Democrat who was a key player in the Trump impeachment inquiry, has died aged 68.Cummings, who chaired the House Oversight and Reform Committee, passed away at Baltimore's John Hopkins Hospital at 2.45am on Thursday, his office said. The Maryland representative, who has been in office since 1996, died of 'complications concerning longstanding health challenges'.
