#News Heavy fighting between Turkish/SNA and YPG/SDF forces in northern Syria, especially around Ain Issa and Ras al-Ayn with neither operation “Peace Spring” being paused by Turkey nor withdrawal starting by YPG forces. The “deal” memo didn’t make it to the battlefield it seems.
New: Turkish-backed forces appear to be using white phosphorus-loaded bombs—chemical weapons that can maim and kill when in contact with flesh—in Syria.
