Libyan army repels attack by Haftar-loyal Kani militia near Garabulli
[Libya Observer] Spokesman for Tarhuona Protection Force of the Libyan army, Yusuf al-Ma'amari confirmed on Sunday that their forces had repelled an attack by Hatar's militias in al-Rawajeh area, between Tarhuona and Garabulli districts."A force of 40 cars from "Al-Kani militia" attempted to attack our troops in the area, but we made them suffer a heavy loss and forced them to withdraw," al-Ma'amari explained. Haftar's militias infiltrated the coastal road at dawn last Thursday and opened fire on a civilian car, killing three members from one family.
