Helicopter crash kills 2 U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan

"Two U.S. service members were killed in a helicopter crash on November 20, 2019 in Afghanistan," the alliance said in a statement. RIP The statement further added "The cause of the crash is under investigation, however preliminary reports do not indicate it was caused by enemy fire." The Resolute Support Mission did not disclose further information regarding the exact location of the incident and identities of the dear departed soldiers. "In accordance with U.S. Department of Defense policy, the names of the service members killed in action are being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is complete," the statement added.
