16 cases registered against religious leaders for public nuisance
Cases against sixteen religious heads including Amir Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islam (Fazal) Maulana Fazalur Rehman, Secretary General Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Chinioty have been registered under Maintenance Public Ordinance (MPO). It was learnt that Chiniot city police station registered a case against Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Chanioti on account of negative use of loud speakers in Jamia Arabia. Cases against 13 other participants were also registered who were present in Jamia Arabia. Due to the excessive use of loud speakers and anti government speeches city police station has registered cases against them.Cheeze, what a relief!
