Somali Troops Retake Villages From Al-Shabaab After Operation
[RADIOSHABELLE] Somali forces [Danab] were reported to have seized full control of fresh areas in the Lower Jubba region from al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...murderous Moslems. Army officials the US-trained troops captured Abdi Dore, Berhani and Hadweyn following a well-organized operation targeting murderous Moslem-controlled areas in the region. Al-Shabaab controls large parts of rural Lower Jubba and all of Middle Jubba, and has been carrying out attacks against government and AU peacekeeping troops in both regions. Somali forces backed by AU and US soldiers have been conducting military operations in southern regions to flush out al-Shabaab from the entire country.
