Taliban Attacked Army Base in Kandahar, No Report of Casualties
[ToloNews] The Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men...attacked an ANA base in the Shargha area of Khakrez district Sunday morning with a motor bomb, the governor’s office said. According to the governor’s office, the boom-mobile was identified by security forces and the driver was killed and the bomb was destroyed before it reached its presumed target. The Taliban also conducted attacks on a security checkpoint around 10:00 am local time. The office said that air and ground reinforcements deployed to the area and push backed the Taliban.
