28, was arrested January 9 in Newark, New Jersey, police said
- He was taken into custody after allegedly trying to storm United Airlines cockpit
- Witnesses said Dingley then brutally attacked a flight attendant who intervened
- Passengers were forced to stop Dingley from allegedly hurting the attendant

- Those incidents occurred while the pilots were attempting to land in Newark
- Once on the ground, Dingley allegedly attacked six police officers, including one officer who suffered four broken ribs
- He faces several charges that include aggravated assault and resisting arrest
- He was arrested in 2016 after leading police officers on a chase in North Carolina, and found guilty of a DWI in New York in 2017.
