Report says top terrorist who oversaw operations around world is new IS chief
[IsraelTimes] UK paper identifies previously secret successor to slain Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi as Amir Mohammed Abdul Rahman al-Mawli al-Salbi.
A headshot of the brutish-looking gentleman in question can be seen at the link. May his time in office be as brief as Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi’s, the last fellow named as Al Baghdadi’s successor, although it’s possible Abu Ibrahim was imaginary.
The new leader of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
terror group is Amir Mohammed Abdul Rahman al-Mawli al-Salbi, The Guardian reported Monday, citing officials from two intelligence services.
According to The Guardian, his nom de guerre is Haji Abdullah, and he is sometimes called Abdullah Qardash, unless the latter is another ISIS member who died two years ago.
Salbi is one of the group’s founders and oversaw the enslavement of members of the Yazidi community in Iraq, as well as jihadist operations around the world, according to the report.
