Algerian troops kill three gunmen
Algerian troops killed three Muslim gunmen in clashes in different parts of the North African country. The official Algerian radio Tuesday reported a clash between troops and gunmen late Monday in Bashar, some 1,000 kilometers (625 miles) south of Algiers, left two militants dead.
