Violence by Taliban Spikes Despite Peace Efforts
[ToloNews] The Taliban ...Arabic for students... has conducted 95 attacks on Afghan forces outposts in 10 provinces over the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Defense (MoD), despite an expected reduction in violence from the group as part of a deal they signed with the United States on Feb. 29. The incidents, according to the ministry, include offensives, rockets, shelling and roadside kaboom blasts in Kapisa, Laghman ...Afghan province with a population of about 445,600, which is multi-ethnic and mostly a rural society.
