Afghanistan’s Hindu and Sikh communities take tough decision after deadly Kabul attack

Only two Hindu families currently live in Jalalabad city who have also decided to move after the Sikh community in the town decided to shift the ’Saroop’ of Guru Granth Sahib to safety, apparently to a third country. A source within the Sikh community in Jalalabad city told The Times of India that they predict more attacks after deadly attack on Sikh temple in Kabul city. The source further added that the Sikh community will most likely shift the ’Saroop’ of Guru Granth Sahib to Beautiful Downtown Peshawar ...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border.
