Somali Police Chief Fires District Police Head Following Shooting
[RADIOSHABELLE] The commander of the Somali police force, Abdi Hassan Mohammed [Hijar] has sacked Boondheere district police commissioner Najib Arab following Friday night shooting.The decision comes as hundreds of residents stage a rally in the capital on Saturday to protest against the shooting of two unarmed civilians by a policeman during a curfew. The government has announced it revised the hours of the curfew, says it will begin at 8 pm instead of 7 pm to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.
