Taliban militants suffer heavy casualties in Logar province
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces repelled a Taliban ...Arabic for students... attack in central Pashtun-infested Logar province of Afghanistan, inflicting heavy casualties on assailant bad boys. The provincial government in a statement said the Talibs planned to launch attacks on several areas including Juma Kala located in the outskirts of the quiet provincial capital of Pashtun-infested Logar and Baraki Barak district. The statement further added that the Afghan forces, supported by air forces, repelled the attack, killing at least 11 turbans and wounding 1 more. The security forces also confiscated a PKM machine gun and an Ak-47 assault rifle during the operation, the statement added. The Taliban group has not commented regarding the incidents so far.
