Nineteen kids in $1m car heist: Gang of children as young as NINE are busted for breaking into 14 dealerships and stealing new vehicles in a six-week crime spree
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] - Group of 19 juveniles reportedly stole 46 cars from dealerships over the last two months
- Thefts happened in Salem-Winston and Kernersville, North Carolina
- Juveniles ages ranged from nine to 16-year-old
- Stolen vehicles are worth an estimated $1,138,718
- Authorities said all but six of the cars have been recovered
- Targeted dealerships included Audi, Lexus and Toyota
- Kids were reportedly stealing keys for new cars or for cars being serviced at dealerships
- Mekeal Stewart Binns, 19, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle in connection to the crime spree
- Four of the juveniles have also been taken into custody
