I now sell around five to six kilos of bats, usually it's 50 or 40 kilos," Mr Igol says. It's a similar story in the nearby Langowan traditional market. "Selling bats is difficult at the moment because people are scared. They have heard that coronavirus comes from bats, so they are frightened," stall-holder Patrice says.
