Alito Warns SCOTUS Decision Is a Threat to Religious Liberty
 [National Review] The U.S. Supreme Court held in a 6—3 decision today — with Justice Neil Gorsuch writing for the majority — that the 1964 Civil Rights Act’s prohibition on sex discrimination in employment also outlaws such discrimination on the basis of transgender identity and sexual orientation.In his dissent, Justice Samuel Alito writes: Politco - Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Brett Kavanaugh dissented from the new ruling, arguing that Gorsuch's claimed humility about simply interpreting the law's language was belied by the huge gulf between what lawmakers intended and what the court held.
