- Mikala Johnston says she was hit with the car's left bumper and then again with the side mirror
- On Monday, she accused Chris Luz, the mayor of the neighboring town Phoenix, of being the driver
- Luz did not address the allegations during a city council meeting on Monday despite calls by several to resign
- There have been at least 19 cases of cars striking demonstrators during anti-police brutality and racial injustice marches
