‘Ansar al-Din’ statement | The group warns HTS of oppression, after Uzbek commander arrest
[SYRIAHR] "Ansar al-Din" front, which operates under the banner of "Fa’ethbato" Operation Room which comprises jihadi factions accused of "pledging allegiance to al-Qaeda", issued a statement yesterday holding Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...responsible for arresting the ex-HTS commander, known as "Abu Salah al-Uzbaki". It is worth noting that "Abu Salah" has dissented from HTS and joined later "Ansar al-Din" front. The statement, of which the Syrian Observatory obtained a copy, says "at such difficult time and at a time when Moslems’ hearts breaking for seeing the occupier’s heavy gears invading our beloved liberated land, HTS comes to surprise us by arresting the brother ’Abu Salah al-Uzbaki’ as well as two other brothers escorting him. In obedience to Allah who commands us to deal others in a friendly manner, and after acting deaf towards our repeated appeals, we call them (HTS affiliates) to actually apply the teachings of religion and to respond promptly to hold a sharia commission for taking up that case, so that all will avoid resorting to power and violence against violators. We will also protect ourselves and our families in the liberated land form the possible repercussions of oppression, aggression and disobeying Allah and the prophet.
