The North Face pauses paid advertising on Facebook, first major brand
[Jpost] Business Insider reported that The North Face will also be halting advertising on Instagram as well, owned by Facebook, according to a direct statement.The North Face will no longer be running paid advertisements on Facebook, the clothing company announced on Friday. The decision surrounds several United States civil rights groups calling upon some of the world's largest companies to pause advertising on Facebook starting in July, saying the social network is not doing enough to stop hate speech on its platforms.
