Ansar al-Sunnah snuffs a Kurd
The Al-Qaeda linked Army of Ansar al-Sunna released a video Monday purporting to show the execution of a member of an Iraqi Kurdish faction for allegedly spying on Islamist militants.The man, who was detained in the main northern city of Mosul and spoke Kurdish, "admitted to having been entrusted by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the party of apostate Jalal Talabani, with tracking down the mujahedeen and collecting information concerning them which the apostates would pass on to the crusaders," a statement read out in the video said. The video posted on the internet showed the man then being shot in the head by a hooded gunman. The Army of Ansar al-Sunna has claimed a string of attacks in Iraq, including murders of foreign hostages and Iraqis accused of "collaborating" with US-led forces.
