From Twitter: 2020 Libertarian Party Presidential Nominee Has Been Bitten By A Possibly Rabid Bat.
It is not clear to me if they were bitten before or after being nominated.

After all, being rabid seems to be a prerequisite for membership in the Libertardian Party.
