Explosion in Kabul city leaves at least 3 dead or wounded
[KhaamaPress] An explosion in Kabul city left at least three people dead or maimed, hours after a similar blast left at least two people maimed.Sources in Kabul Police Headquarters confirmed that the earth-shattering kaboom took place in the vicinity of Prozha-e Jadid, located in Khair Khana area of the city in 11th district. The sources further added that the explosives planted in a vehicle went off at around 7 am local time, leaving one person dead and at least two others maimed. Kabul has witnessed four IED blasts over the past four days in which three people were killed and 13 more were maimed, including military personnel, residents in the capital city said on Tuesday, accusing the security agencies of failing to thwart the attacks. This comes as a similar explosion wounded at least two people in 9th district of the city on Monday morning. Earlier, an explosion killed 2 people and wounded at least 5 others in Company Bazaar area of Kabul city at around 3:40 pm local time on Sunday.
