Authorities Examine Satellite Footage of Hariri's Bomb Blast
Is it possible? That the investigators will be able to read the blast signature to tell how the bomb was detonated - from above or below ground? Lebanese authorities are examining footage of the bomb blast that killed ex-premier Rafik Hariri obtained from satellite and local surveillance cameras, a source close to the probe said Thursday. "The cameras monitored the movement of all the cars on the street, including those of the Hariri motorcade, until the moment of the explosion," said one source. "This footage will be subject to scientific analysis which experts say will help determine the sort of explosives used in the crime."
