Anarchist who torched an NYPD cruiser while wearing a Guy Fawkes mask is arrested just hours after taunting FBI agents by scrawling 'too late' on his apartment wall
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] - Sam Resto, a 29-year-old construction worker, was arrested on Thursday
- He is accused of setting fire to a NYPD patrol car in the early hours of July 29
- He was being followed by NYPD surveillance officers as he made preparations
- Resto wore a Guy Fawkes mask as he torched the car near Central Park
- If convicted he faces 20 years in prison for the attack
- Resto had been arrested twice before: on July 10 for swinging a chain at someone during a parking dispute, and on July 15 during an anti-police brutality protest
- NYPD estimates 300 cars worth $1 million damaged since George Floyd died
