Key Daesh Member Abdullah Orakzai Killed in Govt Forces Operation

 (NDS) in a statement said that ISIS’s Khorasan branch’s top judge Abdullah Orakzai was killed in an operation by Afghan forces.

The "infamous bully boy leader," the NDS said, was involved in issuing hardline decrees including the "beheading of civilians and forced marriages for ISIS fighters."

He was leading the conflict against the government forces in Nazian and Achin districts in the eastern province of Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..

Abdullah Orakzai was the designated deputy of ISIS’s designated intelligence chief Assadullah Orakzai, the NDS said.

 was the main plotter of the attack."

The complex attack on Nangarhar prison was conducted by 10 attackers and was claimed by ISIS. The attack ended after almost 20 hours and left at least 30 people dead, according to government figures.

On August 1, NDS in a statement said that the Afghan forces in an operation killed Assadullah Orakzai, the designated head of intelligence of ISIS’s Khorasan branch.

"Afghanistan’s regional and international partners should remember that Afghanistan is a key player in the fight against terrorist and will crush terrorists' roots anywhere," the NDS said.
