'22 Taliban Killed in Faryab Clashes': MoD
[ToloNews] At least 22 Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban...were killed and 24 others were maimed in festivities with security forces in the northern province of Faryab on Sunday, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement on Monday. No information about security force casualties was given. The festivities occurred as the Taliban attacked Khwaja Sabz Posh and Pashtoon Kot districts, as well as parts of Maimana, the thriving provincial capital, said the statement. "Zulfiqar, a Taliban group leader, is among the dead," said the MoD statement.
