Man, 77, sucker-punched by stranger on Manhattan street, leaving him with fractured skull
[NYDAILYNEWS] A 77-year-old man suffered a fractured skull when a stranger stormed up and punched him in the face in a random unprovoked attack in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, officials said Tuesday.The victim was walking down Park Ave. South when the attacker ran up and slugged him in the face near E. 23rd St. about 11 a.m. Monday, cops said. The victim fell back from the punch, hitting his head on the concrete, officials said. First responders rushed him to Mount Sinai Morningside with serious injuries including a fractured skull.
