Michael Caputo went on a 60-day medical leave after delivering a Facebook rant where he called out 'deep state' and accused government scientists of 'sedition'

He was advised by a coronavirus task force member to seek treatment

He has been diagnosed cancer in the head and neck

This week CDC head Dr. Robert Redfield said such attacks 'suck energy out of people that are working 24/7 when they get unfairly criticized or unfairly characterized'

It is Redfield who encouraged him to seek treatment, the Buffalo News reported
