Delta Airlines puts 460 passengers on no-fly list after they refused to wear masks
[Washington Examiner] Delta banned 460 customers from using its airline after they refused to wear a mask, a safety precaution urged to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.CEO Ed Bastian told Delta employees on Thursday that the passengers were added to the Atlanta-based airline's no-fly list, emphasizing that wearing a mask is a requirement of the company amid the coronavirus pandemic. "Wearing a mask is among the simplest and most effective actions we can take to reduce transmission, which is why Delta has long required them for our customers and our people," Bastian said, according to NBC News, which obtained an internal memo by the executive. Bastian added that in order to elevate Delta's funds, the pandemic must get under control.
