It was claimed the man recently arrived in France after travelling from Lampedusa, an Italian island known as a landing point for migrants from Tunisia. One of the victims of the Nice attack - a woman, reportedly aged 70 - was said to have been decapitated inside the church. In a statement, they said: "As a sign of mourning and solidarity with the victims and their loved ones, I call on all Muslims in France to cancel all the celebrations of the holiday of Mawlid."
