81 Taliban Killed in Kandahar Province Sunday: MoD
[KhaamaPress] At least 81 Taliban ...Arabic for students... snuffies where killed and further 37 maimed in a battle with Afghan National Defense Security Forces in Arghandab district of Kandahar province, the Ministry of Defense confirmed Monday. "81 TB [Taliban] were killed and 37 others were maimed in Arghandab district of Kandahar Prov. after they attacked ANDSF positions yesterday," said the MoD in a tweet. According to the statement, forces seized a large number of arms and ammunition, belonging to Taliban krazed killers, during the operation carried by ANDSF. "Large amounts of TB’s [Taliban’s] weapons, ammunitions and vehicles were destroyed and seized during the operations which were conducted according to ANDSF’s DP." The incident came at a time the Taliban intensified offensive more recently throughout the country despite ongoing peace efforts by the administration.
