the Ottoman Turkish-backed "military police" also arrested two civilians from the village of Badino in Ma’abatli area in rural Afrin, and took them to their prisons for unknown reasons.

on December 3, reliable sources informed SOHR that the members of a joint checkpoint of civil and military police at the entrance of Afrin city arrested an old man from Kafr Nubl city in southern Idlib, while attempting to enter Afrin with his family on their way to Azaz city.

According to SOHR sources, the old man was arrested for "dealing with Syria Democratic Forces", despite his wife and daughter were escorting him, as they were heading to Azaz city to register the daughter in university and to visit their relatives. It is worth noting that the old man and his family live in a refugee camp in Salqeen city on the Syria border with Iskenderun region.
