Car bomb explodes in Baquba
 A suicide car bomber has attacked an Iraqi Army checkpoint in Baquba north-east of Baghdad, killing at least three Iraqi soldiers. Police say five soldiers and three civilians have been wounded. The soldiers have been taken to a US base for treatment. Insurgents trying to overthrow Iraq's Government are increasingly targeting checkpoints, often with suicide attacks.
