17 Taliban Killed in Gov’t Reciprocal Attacks, Uruzgan
[KhaamaPress] Fighting between Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban...and security forces has been going on in Dehrawud district of Uruzgan province since Tuesday night, in which five Afghan security members and 17 Taliban fighters were killed. A front man for the Uruzgan governor, Ahmad Shah Sahil, told media that Taliban faceless myrmidons attacked security checkpoints in the Dehrawud district last night, prompting a retaliatory attack by security forces. He indicated, 17 Taliban including the holy warrior’s deputy commander was killed and six others were maimed in the attack. In another incident in Uruzgan, eight Besided, MoD also confirms this claim on a tweet, According to Sahil, five Afghan security members were also killed during the skirmish, and three others are maimed.
