The amount of original research is quite slim and there are some other problems. However, I've seen worse; much worse. For one thing this paper was not 'woke'. It frankly admits that most minority students come ill prepared for college level work. Her first suggestion for improvement was to move from MLA to APA format because it was easier for students in community college. I think that is actually a good suggestion.
