Protesters take over hotel in Olympia, WA
Thanks to ryuge[Facebook Post] Olympia PD is responding to the Red Lion Downtown (the old Governor Hotel) for a report of a disorderly group of protesters. Some are reportedly entering the establishment and attempting to “take over the front desk”. The staff are being advised to shelter in place while OPD mounts a response. We do not have additional details on what the group is protesting. 12:45 pm - There has been no additional talk on the scanner about this incident. We have no further details. 1:30 pm - We are attaching a news release from a group called “Oly Housing Now”. We have no connection to this group, we are sharing the information as directly as it was provided.
