4 People Killed, 4 Wounded by Violent Crime in Kabul Since Sunday
[ToloNews] At least four people were killed, and four others were maimed in violent mostly peaceful crime incidents in Kabul city in the past two days, officials and relatives confirmed on Monday.

On Sunday night, robbers killed a young man named Mohammad Hadi Karimi and maimed his sister in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of PD18 of Kabul city, relatives said.

The robbers were attempting to steal Hadi's phone and money, his family said. The family is calling on the government to ensure that justice is served.

"It was night, we heard a voice and then ran out of the yard. We saw that they (the robbers) beat them (Hadi and his sister)," said Neekbakht, Hadi's mother.

Hadi's father, Ewaz Ali, said "it’s very shameful that even close to a security outpost they (security forces) are not able to maintain security. Security is exclusively for the Presidential Palace."

During the same night, robbers shot and killed a man and stole his corolla-model car in the Qarabagh district of Kabul, according to eyewitnesses.

"Another person was maimed after the robbers hit him with the car they had stolen," an eyewitness said.

Also, a policeman was killed by unknown button men on the same night in Qarabagh.

"Seven people have been arrested in connection with these two incidents and investigations are ongoing," said Mohammad Haneef Sediqqi, district governor.

Recently, the security organizations also announced that several people have been arrested for assassinations and IED blasts in Kabul city.
