6 Public Uprising Force Members Killed in Herat Car Bomb Attack
[ToloNews] At least six public uprising force members were killed and four more were maimed in a car kaboom on a security outpost in the western province of Herat...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... on Wednesday night, source confirmed. The attack took place in Qudus Abad village in Kohsan district of the province on Wednesday night when a boom-mobile happened close to a security outpost followed by festivities between the Taliban  ...mindless ferocity in a turban...the forces, Herat governor Sayed Waheed Qatali said. "The festivities continued for several hours," he said, but did not provide details about the casualties. Local security officials and the Taliban so far have not commented on the attack.
