Pro-Iranian group fortifies headquarters near Syrian-Iraqi border
[NPASYRIA] On Monday, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps-backed group, Liwa Fatemiyoun,
...Iran’s Afghan Shiite irregulars...
closed the sub-roads leading to its headquarters in the city of al-Mayadin in Deir ez-Zor countryside, near the Syrian-Iraqi border.

Azzam al-Hamad, member of the group, said that the procedure came after the discovery of bombs prepared for detonation last night, near the group’s headquarters in al-Mayadin.
It probably wasn’t the Israelis this time — usually they fly far overhead, unnoticed until their bombs land on their targets. The only time the Israelis touch the ground like normal mortals is when they’re emptying Tehran warehouses of thirty years of documents or stopping the head of the nuclear bomb program in the middle of the road to assassinate him.
Al-Hamad added that the fortification process will include all the headquarters in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor to prevent cars from parking and passing by the headquarters and offices of the group.

The group placed concrete barriers and barrels around its headquarters to prevent the vehicles from approaching and parking near its headquarters.
That’ll do it, fer shure.
It is worth mentioning that al-Mayadin is under the control of Syrian government forces and pro-Iranian military groups.

The city of al-Mayadin hosts 7 headquarters of Liwa Fatemiyoun and two affiliation offices, all of which are located within the city’s residential neighborhoods.
