Abbas Says Determined to Hold Elections in All Palestinian Territories, Including East Jerusalem
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Paleostinian President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase.... said that he was fully committed to holding the elections on time in all the Paleostinian territories, including East Jerusalem. During a meeting of the Fatah Central Committee, he said that the Paleostinian leadership is holding contacts with several countries, specifically the US and the European Union  ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing..., to exert pressure on the Israeli government to abide by the signed agreements regarding the electoral process in Jerusalem. "Until now, we haven’t received a reply from Israel," he noted. After the meeting, the committee issued a statement calling on the US, EU, Russia, and China to exert pressure on Israel to allow the elections to take place in Jerusalem. "The Paleostinian people will not accept any veto by the occupation regarding the participation of our people in Jerusalem in the elections," the statement read. "Jerusalem and its people are a red line that cannot be harmed or tampered with." In this regard, Head of Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, political bureau Ismail Haniyeh ...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank... called Abbas to discuss developments concerning the elections. Also, Paleostinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki kicked off Sunday a visit to several European capitals to discuss the Paleostinian elections scheduled for next month, his office said in a statement.
