Bronx judge RELEASES man, 29, who 'smashed windows of four synagogues'

- But just hours later, Judge Tara Collins granted Burnette supervised release
- It is not clear why Burnette was called back to court and released Sunday night
- Four synagogues in the Riverdale district of the Bronx were allegedly targeted by the rock-hurling suspect who destroyed windows and doors
- The targeting of Jewish religious centers comes at a time when anti-Semitic hate crimes are at their highest levels in 40 years
